COVID-19 Test Drive Safety Advice

The following actions have been taken in accordance with the current Government guidelines and Public Health England to ensure customer and staff safety onsite at our events. Your active participation in adhering to these guidelines is respectfully requested to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

It is important to consider if you have had any symptoms related to COVID-19 in the last 10 days or anyone in your household or support bubble has had any symptoms related to COVID-19 in the last 14 days (symptoms include a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste). If so, we ask that you do not attend this event and instead request an alternative date following 1 week of no symptoms. You should not attend if you or a member of their family been advised to self-isolate by a member of the medical profession or by one of the Governments Track & Trace Team. You should not attend if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 10 days or are awaiting a COVID-19 test result or a member of your household or support bubble have been diagnosed or are awaiting a test result in the last 14 days. If you feel unwell at any point during the event you and any members of your household or support bubble must leave immediately.

  • We ask that attendees arrive at the venue no more than 5 minutes prior to a confirmed booking. This allows for the appropriate social distancing measures to be managed throughout your experience
  • Please use the hand sanitisation stations on entry to the event space
  • All attendees must sign in at the entrance and complete a signing in document. This document will be kept secure and securely disposed of after 14 days. If requested this document will be shared with the Government Track & Trace team
  • All attendees will be required to wear a face covering during the event. This could be a clean scarf, bandana or homemade mask, but needs to cover your mouth and nose. We can provide these onsite, if you do not have your own
  • The Polestar Event Team will be wearing a face covering/visor at all times and will actively be using hand sanitiser at all times
  • All equipment used during the check-in process will be cleaned between each attendee’s use
  • The event space has been specifically designed to minimise different groups of attendees coming into contact on arrival and departure
  • 2 metre social distancing will apply at all times and if not possible the 1m plus principles adopted
  • A 2m distance marker will be used at the entrance to provide a perspective
  • Test drives will be unaccompanied within a convoy format and permits a maximum of 2 x attendees from the same household or support bubble in the same vehicle
  • Vehicles will have been thoroughly cleaned prior to each test drive following a strict cleaning procedure
  • Vehicles will be issued with a post cleaned seal for the next attendee to break before entering the vehicle for a new test drive
  • Dedicated Drive Specialists will look after 1 x test drive booking at any one time that will consist of a maximum of 2 x attendees from the same household or support bubble. Allocated drive times are specific to the arrival and departure of attendees to ensure safety of numbers at any one time inside the event space
  • Wrapped refreshments will be available to all attendees including the use of disposable cups with lids
  • All rubbish should be disposed of in the clearly marked bins
  • Dedicated cleaning services will always be present to ensure surfaces and toilets are thoroughly cleaned throughout the event space following a strict rotational cleaning procedure
